Prolactinomas: The term used to describe pituitary adenomas that cause excessive production of prolactin.CT Scans and MRI Scans: These are imaging tests, similar to x rays, that help in the diagnosis of various health conditions.
Benign tumor: A benign tumor is noncancerous and does not pose a risk of spreading to other body parts.
Malignant tumor: A malignant tumor is cancerous and poses a risk of spreading to nearby tissue and other body parts.
