What Happens Following radioisotope Administration?

You will be instructed when to report back for the test by the radiographer. This may range from a few hours to a day or more. It does not usually take longer than that. Following this, you will be asked to lie on a table under the scanner or the camera, that would rotate around the body. There is no reason for panic because the procedure is relatively safe. Moreover, the radiographer would be there to assist you during the procedure.

It is very important for you to remain still during the entire examination to get a good quality picture / image.
