Salmonellosis Symptoms
What are the symptoms associated with Salmenellosis?
The most common symptoms of Salmonellosis are diarrhea, abdominal cramps and fever.Symptoms of Salmonellosis may resemble those of other illnesses. Therefore a proper evaluation is required.
Some of the most common symptoms are the following-
- Diarrhea
- Headache
- Fever
- Abdominal cramping or tenderness
- Loss of appetite
- Decreased urine output
- Body pain
- Dry mouth
Some complications associated with the condition include-
- Severe dehydration, especially in infants, due to diarrhea.
- Meningitis / septicemia, due to possible food poisoning by Salmonella.
