Frequently Asked Questions

1) Which specialist doctor should I see if I am suffering from Sarcoidosis?

See a general physician or Chest Physician.

2) How long will I need to take the medication?

If the disease is mild and remitting, you may not be required to take medicines. But if the disease is more serious then the physician may treat the symptoms.

For how long you need to take medicines depends on the severity of the disease and also on your response to the illness.

3) Will I get bed-ridden with the disease?

If you do not respond to medications the way you should, your condition may become severe and may confine you to the bed for short or long periods of time.
