Complications of Silicosis
Complications
People with silicosis are at risk of acquiring:- TB
- Lung cancer
- Progressive systemic sclerosis (scleroderma)
- Rheumatoid arthritis.
Other complications include:
- Spontaneous pneumothorax
- Broncholithiasis
- Tracheobronchial obstruction
