Influence of Environment
The basic physiology of human sleep does not vary from race to race or culture to culture. People sleep best when they are physically and mentally comfortable. There is no universal formula for this, neither is there an ideal sleeping position.
In the course of a normal night's sleep the majority of people move through several sleeping postures. Researchers believe that such movements are beneficial because it prevents restriction of circulation.
