Allergy: A hypersensitivity reaction of the body's immune system in response to exposure to specific substances (antigens), such as pollen, bee stings, poison ivy, drugs, dust or foods.

Allergen: A substance that causes an allergic reaction e.g. pollen, dust, certain drugs, irritant gases, weather, etc.


Nasal polyps: It is a painless, soft, noncancerous growths on the lining of the nasal passages or sinuses.

Pollens: It is a very fine powder from trees, grasses, flowers and weeds.
