Garlic: The "Stinking Rose"
History Garlic, as the belief goes, originated in the deserts of Central Asia. Throughout history it has been used to treat a variety of ailments like Plague in Europe and typhus and dysentery during World War I. Egyptian slaves ate garlic to get strength while building the pyramids.
