Symptoms and Signs of Uterine Polyps | Endometrial Polyps
The most common symptom of uterine polyps is irregular and unpredictable menstrual periods.
Symptoms of uterine polyps include-
- Irregular menstrual periods, sometimes with bleeding between the periods
- Heavy bleeding during menstrual periods or menorrhagia
- Vaginal spotting or bleeding after menopause or sexual intercourse
- Infertility: Uterine polyps are found to act like natural intrauterine device. They may prevent the fertilized egg from implanting in the uterine wall, or by preventing the fertilization of the egg by blocking the entry of sperms through the fallopian tube or the cervical canal
