Chest X-ray:- Used to identify lung diseases.
- Pneumonia, lung cancer, fluid collection (Pulmonary Odema) in the lungs
Abdominal X-ray
- Detection of obstruction of the intestine (Ileus)
- Presence of air in the abdominal organs through abnormal communications
- Fluid collection in the abdominal cavity (Ascites)
- Identification of stones in the gallbladder
- Detection of stones in the urinary system (Certain forms of stones would require ultrasound examination)
- Angiography
- Contrast studies of hollow organs (small or large intestine)
- Angioplasty
- Surgical Interventions involving the blood vessels, urinary system, skeletal system
