What are the Causes of Allergy?
Pollen, dust mites, mold spores, pet dander, food, insect stings and medicines often cause allergy.
Anything can act as an allergen if the system is sensitive to it, but the most common allergens are -
- Pollen
- Dust
- Dust mites
- Mold
- Mildew
- Cat and dog dander
- Foods such as peanuts, eggs, milk and shellfish
- Drugs such as penicillin and anesthetics
- Certain chemicals
- Bee stings
- Injury
- Hot or cold temperature
- Exercise
- Stress
