Glossary

Arthroscopy: It is detecting device, which evaluates the level of damage in the joints.

Ligament: Fibrous, slightly elastic band of tissue which connects the ends of bones and prevents excessive movement of the joint, or holds organs in place.

Thromboembolism: Pathological clotting in a blood vessel, followed by lodgment of clot or clots in remote blood vessels.

Tibia: The larger of the two bones in the lower leg; the shin bone.
