Degenerative diseases: This describes diseases or conditions in which the affected tissue, organ or body structure deteriorates over a period of time.

Congenital conditions: This refers to conditions or diseases that exist at or before birth.

Scoliosis: A condition in which there is an abnormal sideways curvature of the spine.

Pediatrics: Medical specialty that is concerned primarily with infants and children.
