Upcoming technologies can be interfaced with the instrument to enable doctors in monitoring patients in hospitals without being with them at all times. This would help doctors when it comes to monitoring several patients at the same time. The implementation can give way to Internet Relay Chat (IRC). This will make possible video conferencing and a general room area where many contemporary physicians or medical experts can obtain the parameters for biomedical signals. Voice over IP (VoIP) systems can save people and companies a considerable amount of money under the right circumstances. First, they need to experience phone bills large enough to justify the costs. Moreover, they need to have the infrastructure to support the network. The General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) is a new non-voice value added service that allows mobile phones to be used for sending and receiving data over on Internet Protocol (IP) based on the network. GPRS as such is a data bearer that enables wireless access to data networks such as the Internet, enabling users to access E-mail and other Internet applications using mobile phones. This can enable the transfer of biomedical parameters by paramedics in an ambulance through mobile phones. This will allow hospitals to be ready by the time critically ill patients arrive at the hospital.
