Contraindicated in patients with viral or fungal eye infection, ocular herpes, tuberculosis, and hypersensitivity.What is the dosage of Fluorometholone?
Adult: Ophthalmic- As 0.1% ointment: Apply half an inch ribbon 1-3 times/day. As 0.1% solution: Instill 1-2 drops 2-4 times/day. May increase dose to 4 hourly in severe cases during the initial 24-48 hour.How should Fluorometholone be taken?

• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of eye infections, recent eye surgery, cataracts, glaucoma (open-angle type), severe nearsightedness (myopia), diabetes, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.• Remove your contact lenses before using this medication.
• It may cause blurred vision, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
♦ Avoid long term use; otherwise it may cause intraocular pressure.
