None.What is the dosage of Ioversol Injection?
Dose may be individualized accounting for factors such as age, body weight, size of the vessel and the rate of blood flow within the vessel.Usual Adult Dose for Cerebral Arteriography: 2 to 12 mL.
Usual Adult Dose for Peripheral Arteriography: aorta-iliac runoff - 60 mL (range 20 to 90 mL)
Common iliac, femoral - 40 mL (range 10 to 50 mL)
Subclavian, brachial - 20 mL (range 15 to 30 mL)
Usual Adult Dose for Visceral Arteriography:
Aorta - 45 mL (range 10 to 80 mL)
Celiac - 45 mL (range 12 to 60 mL)
Superior mesenteric - 45 mL (range 15 to 60 mL)
Renal or inferior mesenteric - 9 mL (range 6 to 15 mL)

Aorta - 45 mL (range 10 to 80 mL)

It comes as a solution for injection, to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.What are the warnings and precautions for Ioversol Injection?
• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of brain tumor, blood clots, head injury, bleeding disorder, kidney or liver disease, heart disease, sickle cell anemia, stroke, multiple myeloma, thyroid disorder, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.• It may lead to dehydration in patients with preexisting vascular disease and diabetic patients; drink adequate water.
• In patients with CBS deficiency (homocystinuria), angiography should be avoided; otherwise it may lead to blood clots.
What are the side effects of Ioversol Injection?
Severe Effects - Death, convulsions, stroke, coma, paralysis, kidney failure, heart arrest, seizures, rhabdomyolysis, fever and brain swelling.Heart - Chest pain, low or high blood pressure, fluctuation arterial spasm, slow heart rate, abnormal heart rhythm, vascular trauma.
Gastrointestinal - Nausea, vomiting and dry mouth.
Central Nervous System - Headache, blurred vision, fainting, lightheadedness, hallucinations, disorientation, tingling, speech disorder, and muscle spasm.
Respiratory - Throat swelling, lung swelling, sneezing, congestion, coughing and shortness of breath.
Skin - Hives, itching, rash, swelling in the face.
Miscellaneous - Shaking, chills, bad taste, general pain, increased urination and urinary retention.
