This medication is a dyslipidaemic agent, prescribed for hypercholesterolaemias and hyperlipoproteinaemia. It is a powerful antioxidant which inhibits the oxidation of cholesterol in LDLs.

Adult: PO- The recommended dose is 500 mg twice daily.
