This medication is a stress agent, prescribed for radionuclide myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) in patients unable to undergo adequate exercise stress.  It works by increasing blood flow in the arteries of the heart.

Contraindicated in patients with second and third degree AV block, who have artificial pacemaker, and hypersensitivity.
