Why is Tdap Prescribed? (Indications)

This medication is a vaccine, prescribed for tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis infections.

When should Tdap not be taken? (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with brain disorder, severe allergic reaction due to previous dose and known hypersensitivity.
