BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
Dr. Swapan Sood did his graduation and post graduation MS (Surgery) (Gold medalist) from Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana. After completing his masters he joined Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana as Lecturer in the Department of General Surgery. He trained in Kidney Transplant from PGIMER Chandigarh & in 1998; he completed his Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.) from AIIMS.
He joined Patel Hospital and started the Department of Advanced Renal Sciences.

He is a member of a number of urological societies across the world including American Urological Association and Société Internationale d'Urologie. He has published several papers in esteemed National & International journals of Urology & is called in many National & International conferences to present his papers.
Dr. Sood is an expert in all types of Urological laparoscopic surgeries like Laparoscopic Radical Cystectomy, Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy, Laparoscopic Partial Nephrectomies, and Laparoscopic Nephrectomies Etc.[shrink]
