She completed her MBBS from Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences, Karnataka followed by DNB from NDMC Medical College and Hindu Rao Hospital, Delhi. She further specialized in Clinical Hematology with a DM from Nil Ratan Sircar (NRS) Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata, where she was awarded a Gold Medal.
Dr. Malini has gained significant expertise in Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, acute leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, aplastic anemia, and bleeding disorders. She worked as a Specialist Registrar in the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit at ACTREC (Tata Memorial Hospital), where she was actively involved in managing complex transplant cases and gained experience in CAR-T cell therapy. She further served as an Assistant Professor in the Adult Haematolymphoid and BMT Unit at HBCH Varanasi (a unit of TMC), contributing to research, clinical trials and the training of DM students. Her research has been widely published, and she has presented at numerous national and international conferences.
Currently, Dr. Malini is a Consultant Clinical Hematologist and Co-Director at Gwalior Hematology Centre, Gwalior and a Visiting Consultant at a Superspeciality Hospital in Gwalior. She continues to be actively involved in clinical practice, research and academics, with a keen interest in advanced bone marrow transplantation techniques, leukemia treatment, and hematological malignancies.
