He is board-certified by the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. His clinical expertise encompasses minimally invasive spine surgery, complex cervical and lumbar degenerative procedures, spine trauma, spine oncology, deformity corrections, and CT-navigated spinal surgeries.
Dr. Nigil Sadanandan Palliyil earned his MBBS and MS in Orthopaedics from Government Medical College, Thrissur, Kerala, and holds a DNB degree in Orthopaedics. He further honed his skills by completing a two-year spine fellowship program certified by the National Board (FNB) at P.D. Hinduja National Hospital in Mumbai. Subsequently, Dr. Nigil Sadanandan Palliyil was selected for the prestigious two-year spine fellowship program at The Centre for Spinal Studies and Surgery at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham University Hospital, UK.
