When and How to Take Bupropion
- Bupropion is available in the form of a tablet and a sustained-release or extended-release tablet to be taken orally.
- Regular tablets are often taken three times a day, at least six hours apart or four times daily, four hours apart.
- Sustained-release tablets are often taken twice a day, at least eight hours apart, whereas extended-release tablets are typically taken once daily in the morning.
- Swallow the tablets as a whole instead of crushing, chewing or breaking them.
- Take the medication at around the same time every day for better results.
