When and How to Take Desloratadine

  • Desloratadine is available in the form of a tablet, oral solution (liquid) and an orally disintegrating tablet to be taken orally.
  • It is usually taken once a day with or without food on an empty stomach.
  • To take the orally disintegrating pill, peel apart the foil wrapping with dry hands. Take the tablet out immediately and put it on your tongue.
