How to Take Algeldrate and it's Dose


Do not take Algeldrate for over 2 weeks if not prescribed by your doctor.
Do not split or break the Algeldrate tablet; instead, swallow them as a whole. In the case of chewable tablet, chew them thoroughly.
Shake the bottle well before using the Algeldrate suspension.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Algeldrate is available in tablets, capsules, oral liquids, and suspension forms.
Depending on the condition, the dose and frequency of the drug can be adjusted.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

  • Patients allergic to Algeldrate

  • Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid taking this medication.

  • It is advised not to take any other medication an hour before or 2 hours after taking Algeldrate as it can interfere with vitamins, over the counter medicines, and herbal products.

  • What if you Miss a Dose of Algeldrate?

    If you miss a dose, it is better to skip it and take the next dose correctly. Do not double the dose.
    Overdosing leads to symptoms such as severe constipation, confusion, and mood swings.
