How to Take Disulfiram and it's Dose

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with or without food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult: PO- 800 mg as a single dose on the 1st day. Reduce dose by 200 mg/day. Maintenance: 100-200 mg/day.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with severe heart disease, mental disorder, who are taking alcohol containing preparations and hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Disulfiram

This medication is an alcohol antagonist, prescribed for chronic alcoholism.
