How to Take Finafloxacin and it's Dose

0.3% of finafloxacin ear drops should be instilled into the affected ear(s) twice daily for seven days with or without using an otowick.
The initial dose can be doubled (up to 8 drops), followed by 4 drops instilled into the affected ear twice daily for seven days, for patients using otowick.
Warm the suspension for one or two minutes prior to dosing by holding it in hand or rubbing it with hands. It helps to avoid dizziness from the instillation of a cold suspension. The bottle should be well shaken before use.
The patient is instructed to lie with the affected ear upward for instilling the finafloxacin drops, and the position should be maintained for 60 seconds to facilitate good penetration of the drops into the ear canal.
The process should be repeated if necessary, for the opposite ear.
