How to Take Hydrochlorothiazide and it's Dose

It comes as a tablet and liquid to take by mouth, with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult- HTN- The recommended dose is 12.5 to 50 mg once daily.
Edema- The recommended dose is 25-100 mg once daily or in divided doses.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with urination problem, who are taking potassium-sparing agents and hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Hydrochlorothiazide

This medication is a thiazide diuretic, prescribed for high blood pressure (hypertension) and edema.
