How to Take Ivermectin and it's Dose

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, as a single dose on an empty stomach with a full glass of water.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

It is administered as a single oral dose therapy.
Strongyloidiasis- The recommended dose is 200mcg/kg/ body weight.
Onchocerciasis - The recommended dose is 150mcg/kg body weight.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients in ivermectin

Drug Name : Ivermectin

Ivermectin is an anthelminthic drug used to treat certain parasitic infections like Strongyloidiasis and Onchocerciasis.
