How to Take Latanoprostene Bunod Ophthalmic and it's Dose


• Latanoprostene bunod ophthalmic comes as a liquid which has to be instilled into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye daily in the evening.
• If latanoprostene bunod ophthalmic is prescribed with other eye drops, maintain a time gap of around 5 minutes between each administration.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

• The recommended dose of latanoprostene bunod ophthalmic is one drop of 0.24 mg/ml applied to the affected eye once daily in the evening.
• Do not use more than once as frequent administration leads to reduced therapeutic activity.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Latanoprostene bunod ophthalmic should not be used in patients with-

• Allergy to latanoprostene bunod ophthalmic
• Children below 16 years of age
• Inflammation of the eye (Iritis or uveitis)
• Pregnancy
