How to Take Phylloquinone and it's Dose


It comes as a solution for injection, to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

IV- Initial: The recommended dose is 2.5 mg-10 mg or up to 25 mg (rarely 50 mg)

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Phylloquinone

This medication is often known as vitamin K1, prescribed for coagulation disorders (bleeding problems) in patients with vitamin K deficiency (e.g.,anticoagulant-induced prothrombin deficiency, hypoprothrombinemia). It helps the liver to produce blood-clotting factors.
