It comes as a capsule and an oral solution (liquid) to take by mouth, with or without food.
Pediatric Patients (age 2 to 18 years)- The recommended dose is 14 mg/kg with 6 mg/kg ritonavir twice daily. Maximum dose is 500 mg co-administered with ritonavir 200 mg twice daily.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)
Contraindicated in patients with moderate or severe liver impairment, who are taking antiarrhythmics, antimycobacterials, ergot derivatives, GI motility agent, herbal products, HMG CoA reductase inhibitors, neuroleptic, PDE-5 inhibitors, sedatives/hypnotics and hypersensitivity.Drug Name : Tipranavir
