How to Take Zaltoprofen and it's Dose


• Zaltoprofen comes as a tablet to be taken by mouth.
• It should be taken with food to avoid gastric discomfort.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

For the treatment of arthritis-related and other pain conditions:
• The recommended adult dose is 80mg three times daily.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Zaltoprofen should not be given to patients with:

• Peptic ulcer with or without a rupture in the gastrointestinal tract as the NSAID group causes gastrointestinal bleeding.
Ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease (inflammatory bowel disease)
• Blood abnormalities
• Cardiovascular disease as some cardiovascular deaths have been noted with some NSAIDs.
• Asthma, since it could cause an asthmatic attack.
• Allergy to the drug
• Severe liver or kidney damage
