How to Take Zonisamide and it's Dose

It comes as a tablet and capsule to take by mouth, with or without food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult: PO- Initial: 50 mg/day in 2 divided doses, increase up to 100 mg/day after 1 week. Thereafter, may further increase the dose at weekly intervals in steps of up to 100 mg. Usual dose: 300-500 mg/day.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Zonisamide

This medication is a sulfonamide anticonvulsant, prescribed for partial seizures.
