Heart - Palpitations, chest pain, fast or slow heart rate, decreased blood pressure, feeling like you might pass out, cardiac/respiratory arrest, congestive arrest, congestive heart failure (CHF), and myocardial infarction (MI).
Eye - Blurred vision and eye swelling.
Skin- Rash, itching.
Miscellaneous- Dry mouth, weakness, itching, liver dysfunction and dark urine.
Propoxyphene may be habit-forming and should be used only by the prescribed person. Should never share this medication with another person, especially someone with a history of drug abuse or addiction.
Do not use this medication if the patient is on sodium oxybate.
