Side effect(s) of Belantamab

General: Fatigue, Fever
Digestive: Nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, decreased appetite
Blood: Decreased platelet count, hemoglobin
Metabolic: Gamma glutamyl transferase levels may increase
Kidney: Creatinine levels may increase
Eye: corneal changes, decreased vision, blurred vision
Respiratory tract: Upper respiratory tract infection

Other Precautions :

Patients with low platelet count should be careful. Regular platelet counts should be monitored.
Infusion-related reactions can occur. If a reaction occurs, the infusion must be discontinued.
In women who are able to get pregnant, proper contraceptives should be used during the treatment and one week after the last dose is given.

Belantamab is an anticancer agent indicated for the treatment of adults with multiple myeloma who have received at least four previous therapies. Multiple myeloma is a cancer that arises from white blood cell called the plasma cell.
