The Crying Infant
"Crying Infant" is a common and a difficult problem encountered in Pediatric Office Practice. It is a situation where the Parents are extremely tense and least amenable to any suggestions. The cause for crying may vary from a simple hunger to an acute illness. The Role of Family Physician is to tackle the situation very patiently, to elicit an appropriate history, to do a rapid but a thorough Physical Examination to exactly detect the cause.
