Most frequently seen in patients in ICU. There is usually history of endotoxic shock/cardiac infarction.They are sometimes seen after cerebral trauma or neurosurgical operations Cushing's Ulcer.
After burns (>35% of body surface) - two types of ulcer can occur and are called Curling's Ulcer.
Type A: Multiple acute erosions can occur anywhere in the body and fundus of stomach. Antrum and duodenum are unaffected (14%) first 48 hours.
Type B: during convalescence duodenal ulcers may occur and they become chronic.

I am suffering from acid peptic disease as the doctor told me and I want to try this lemon water drink in empty stomach in early morning before I have my breakfast. Does this drink worsen my disease as I read that lemon inside the body is alkaline not acid. Thank you.
