Testicular cancer is the rare type of cancer that occur in the testicles which are located inside the scrotum bag. Testicles are responsible for the production of male sex hormones and sperm for reproduction. Testicular cancer is a rare type of cancer but it is more common in young males.
The exact cause of the testicular cancer remain unknown. Most often testicular cancer is identified as a painless lump in one of the testicles. Many men have no risk factors. There are two main types of testicular cancer they are Seminomas and Non Seminomas.
Testicular cancer is a treatable cancer and 95 % of the cases can be cured if the cancer is detected at an early stage. Treatment includes surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and stem cell transplantation.
