Dr. Amick has been a registered nurse for 30 years and holds a doctorate in nursing. She has worked in a trauma center, workers compensation, primary care and women's health. For the past six years, Dr. Amick has been employed at the local VA Hospital. Elder Amick is a retired U S Navy Chief Independent Duty Hospital Corpsman. He has been in healthcare for 36 years. Since retirement from the Navy, he has held positions at a local hospital in Radiology and taught college and currently is the Chief Technologist at the same VA Hospital where Dr. Amick is employed at. They currently live in Virginia with four fur babies. They enjoy volunteering at their church where he is an Elder. They also enjoy spending time with family, watching movies and taking adventures in their camper.
