During NIAW, infertility advocate Shannon Willardson is hosting two important Instagram Live sessions with RESOLVE and First Response™ to share her story and experience with IVF, while spotlighting various issues commonly faced throughout the infertility journey and sharing resources available to the community, including emotional support.
"My journey to motherhood hasn't been easy. I have three beautiful children for whom I'm so grateful and am still trying to grow my family through IVF," says Willardson. "Infertility can be isolating, but hearing other people's stories and connecting with those going through similar struggles has brought hope to my life. Throughout the week, Willardson will be joined on Instagram Live by experts Banafsheh Kashani, M.D., OB-GYN, a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist, and RESOLVE Board Chair, Elizabeth Grill, Psy.D., a clinical psychologist and medical researcher specializing in the emotional aspects of infertility. Together, they will educate the public on the mental, emotional and physical obstacles that the infertility community faces and share ways to support them.
