Dried Blood Samples for Better Disease Diagnosis and Treatment

Storing a drop of blood on a filter paper could be considerably easier than the present-day resource-consuming method that uses frozen blood samples in plastic tubes, finds a new study from the Uppsala University. The research team has successfully measured around 92 different proteins in millimetre-sized circles that could be punched out of dried samples.
