Preparation
Ingredients:
- Green gram – 20 gm
- Horse gram – 10 gm
- Par boiled rice – 10gm
Herbs:
- Kola (Ziziphus mauritiana - Indian jujube seeds) – 5 gm
- Long pepper – 2 gm
- Dry ginger – 2 gm
- Amalaki (Emblica ribes) – 5 gm
- Suska muli (dry radish) – 5 gm
Method
Clean the herbs. Make a decoction of the herbs by adding 500 ml of water and reducing it to 200 ml by boiling. To this decoction, add 300 ml of water . Add green gram, horse gram and rice to it. Boil until they become soft. Make a puree and add rock salt as required and serve.
