Ingredients
- Rice granules – 1 cup
- Green gram granules - ¼ teaspoons
- Ghee - 2 tsp
- Mustard -1 tsp
- Pepper - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves - few
- Water - 5 cups
Preparation
- Heat the ghee in a shallow tawa.
- Add mustard seeds and let it pop.
- Add powdered pepper and cumin seeds.
- Add curry leaves.
- Now add water and let the salt dissolve in it.
- When it begins to boil, add granule rice (rava like) and hulled green gram.
- Mix and sauté it.
- Cook till it gains a thick consistency.
- Serve hot
