A variety of herbal leaves vada can be made in this manner by mixing the chopped leaves in the vada dough. The properties & indications of the vada depend on the leaves that are mixed.

Ingredients
- Green Gram - 1 cup
- Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
- Curry Leaves - Few leaves
- Balloon vine Leaves - A handful
- Sesame Oil - 100 ml
- Salt - To taste
Method
Soak green gram for 2- 3 hrs. Grind it to a coarse and thick consistency. Add pepper, cumin seed, salt, curry leaves and chopped balloon vine leaves to it. Mix well. Make small balls of the dough and flatten on a plantain leaf. Fry it in sesame oil till golden brown.
