Preparation
Ingredients
- Green Gram - 1 Cup
- Pepper Powder - 1 Spoon
- Cumin Seeds - 1 Spoon
- Curry Leaves - Few leaves
- Coriander Leaves - A handful
- Sesame Oil - 100 ml
- Salt - To taste
Method
Soak the green gram for 2-3 hours. Wash it well and grind to a coarse consistency. Add pepper powder, cumin seeds, salt, curry leaves and coriander leaves to the dough. Make small balls out of the dough and flatten them on a plantain leaf. Fry it in sesame oil till golden brown and serve.
