Plantain Flower Recipe

English name: Plantain flower

Method of Preparation

Soak Bengal gram for 15 minutes. Then add cumin seeds and pepper to it and grind it for few seconds. Take away the style of the plantain flower. Then chop it to pieces and clean it in running water. Cook for 5-7 minutes. Add some turmeric powder while boiling. Decant the water. In a pan, add sesame oil and season with mustard seeds and asafoetida. Add ground Bengal gram, pepper, and cumin seeds and sauté it for few minutes. Then add the cooked plantain flowers and salt. Sauté it for few minutes. Garnish with curry leaves.
