Aphasia: Trouble finding the right word.Cerebral cortex: This is the gray matter of the brain that is the bed of the neurons that make up the central nervous system.
Metastasis: Transfer of disease from one organ or part of the body to another, the causative agents having been conveyed by the blood or lymph.
Sinus: Air chambers in the facial bone behind the cheeks, eyebrows, and jaws.
Arteries: Blood vessels that carry blood away from the heart.
CT (Computed tomography): An imaging technique that uses x-rays and a computer to produce cross-sectional images of tissue structures within the body.
MRI (Magnetic resonance imaging): An imaging method that uses a magnetic field, radio waves and a computer for generating very accurate and clear images of internal organs.
Brachytherapy: Internal radiation treatment achieved by implanting radioactive material directly into the tumor or close to it.
Edema: Accumulation of fluid in a part of the body.
