Glossary

Malnutrition: Deficiency of nourishment in the body due to lack of healthful food or improper digestion and distribution of nutrients.

Physiology: Having to do with the functions of the body. When used in the phrase "physiologic age," it refers to an age assigned by general health, as opposed to calendar age.

Satiety: Feeling of satisfaction of hunger after eating.
