AIDS: A condition caused by HIV virus that results in decreased immunity and predisposes the patient to infections and cancer.Kaposi Sarcoma: A type of cancer characterized by the abnormal growth of blood vessels that develop into skin lesions or occur internally.
Lymphatic System: The interconnected system of spaces and vessels between body tissues and organs by which lymph circulates throughout the body.
Lymphoma: Cancer that arises in cells of the lymphatic system.
Lymphoproliferative Disorders: Diseases in which cells of the lymphatic system grow excessively. These disorders are often treated like cancer.
